s there a "looking forward to" list? I'm having trouble with that one, but if I was headed to rather than away from the Bay Area it would be easier. Excited to see you all soon in mythical CA.

Oh.. take care!

Before moving to this completely internet-filtered land, we enjoyed a BBC show called the Supersizers. You can watch it in segments on YouTube, which I unfortunately can't link to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Supersizers...

Also from the college radio at home, there is a show called WIDR World which is three hours of international music, no commercials. I think the DJ is really smart, not a typical slacker college guy. It's available via iTunes U, if you can access that in France. Can't link to that either :(

A friend of mine likes the Hamburger Eyes podcast which is usually vintage R&B.

There's always This American Life too.

I hope this time passes quickly for you!

Oh, I hope the next few weeks go well..

Knitting suggestions depend on what is in your stash. Do you need a yarn shipment?

C said he isn't a big Ken Burns fan, but I thought the new National Parks series was interesting if a little slow.

Good luck with everything- I hope it goes smoothly.

I'm glad everything is OK. This old friend of my sister who lives in South Africa keeps posting the most pathetic photos of her preemie on Facebook, with uplifting comments about how much he's grown, such as "weight up to 1.42 kg (3.13 lbs), but expect a loss tomorrow as feeds were dropped back to 6 ml/hr again. Dr's gonna hold off on the blood transfusion for now & see how it goes. Back on to nasal prongs again too, poor little man. Hoping this lasts only a few days before he's back on track again."
